Several MP3 files are played by Kaboodle with "clicks" and distortion.
An example of such files are those under the following URLs:
http://www.nativeinstruments.de/fileadmin/redaktion_upload/mp3_b4/b4vb3t1.mp3
http://www.nativeinstruments.de/fileadmin/redaktion_upload/mp3_b4/b4vb3t2.mp3
http://www.nativeinstruments.de/fileadmin/redaktion_upload/mp3_b4/b4vb3t3.mp3
I use es1371 for accessing my soundcard.
I want to add that I experienced no problems with woody and the
KDE 3.1.3 backport.

As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty,
and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life -- so I became a
scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls.
