Package: kate-plugins
Version: 4:3.2.3-2
Severity: normal

When opening large XML files, and when trying to close tags that span
multiple pages, Kate will seem to close the entire document. Things
like,

<document>
<element>
... spans multiple pages ....
</element>
<element>
... more stuff here....
</element>
</document>

closing the first element will not make the second one visible.

A work around is to scroll though the entire document. I'm guessing that
Kate does not parse the entire document when it is initially open.

As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty,
and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life -- so I became a
scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls.
