Good question. I tried to reproduce your problem by moving an old 3.2 .kde
folder over to my 3.3 system, but the tab still appeared. So I can't even
start to figure out which particular file(s) under ~/.kde contain the
problematic entries (or lack the necessary entries).
However, if you want to try and find out yourself, good ones to start
moving (temporarily, if they don't fix things) out of the way
include .kde/share/config/konquerorrc and other konqueror config files,
and anything you might have in .kde/share/apps/kfile. But these are just
guesses. Hopefully, though, you'll find the offending file, and thus fix
the problem, without losing too many important KDE settings. Certainly
let us know if you do find a solution.
