Perfectly valid (I'd even accept if you would have been busy with mountain
climbing).

I was not involved that deeply in UDD and thus I was not suffering that
badly from this problem - but I perfectly know what you mean. It just
should not happen that demotivation comes from bad hardware performance.
As far as I understood there is light at the horizont.

Fully understandable! Thanks for giving this explanation and perhaps it
was bad timing for my change. However, I was pushed hardly by people who
have noticed that Blends tasks pages were not updated since mid January
and decided to do the needed change. However, it seems that there are
two different reasons for a breakage:

  1. My change showing side effects (all_packages view)
  2. Changes in config file which were not commited to SVN

I have no idea who did those changes in 2. but this is simply something
that should not happen and it does not depend from slow hardware or
barely from a lack of time.

As I said previousely: I can't wait seeing this happen!

And to say it again: Lucas, thanks for all your great work on UDD!

Kind regards

       Andreas.
