Bug#72950: Cucipop doesn't let people log in anymore

Cucipop doesn't let users log in anymore. This seems to coincide with the
libc6 update, but I am not getting any error messages in my log files
except for:

Oct  2 07:23:45 wasteland cucipop[12156]: authentication failure nils
127.0.0.1

I am ABSOLUTELY certain not to have used the wrong password. ;-)
