Bug#19402: seyon: md5sums-lists-nonexisting-file LI#138
Package: seyon
Version: 2.14c-5.3
Severity: important
This bug report has been created automatically by the Lintian Debian
package checker. (Please refer to
http://schwarz.developer.debian.org/lintian/ for details.)
Below, there are two lists of problems that have been detected in this
package (and probably in other binary packages that come from the same
source package). The first list contains problems which are considered
`release-critical' (i.e., these bugs have to be fixed before the code
freeze--if not, the package will be moved into project/orphaned),
while the second list contains `normal' bugs (of course, these
problems should be fixed too, but we won't remove the package if this
isn't done before the freeze).
If you have any questions, or think that Lintian has a bug, or that
your package requires a policy exceptions, feel free to contact
lintian-maint@debian.org about this.
Thanks,
Chris, Richard, and Lintian :)

===============================
E: seyon: md5sums-lists-nonexisting-file DEBIAN/md5sums
The md5sums control file lists a file which is not included in the
package.
Usually, this error occurs during the package build process, if the
debian/tmp/ directory is touched after dh_md5sums or debstd is run.
If all the files in the DEBIAN/ subdirectory are listed above, the
problem was probably caused by building the package using a buggy
debstd/debmake. In this case, rebuilding the package with an updated
debstd should fix the problem.

=====================
E: seyon: binary-without-manpage seyon
Each binary in /usr/bin, /usr/sbin, /bin, /usr/sbin, or /usr/games, must
have a manual page.
The only known exception to this rule is the case where a binary
contains the version number of the program and is a link to the actual
binary, e.g., `perl4.036 -> perl', in which case only the referenced
program has to provide a manual page (perl, here). In this situation,
please contact schwarz@monet.m.isar.de about this so that this error
gets included in the overrides file for Lintian. (With that, Lintian
will ignore this bug in the future.)
Note, that though the `man' program has the capability to check for
several program names in the NAMES section, each of these programs must
have its own manual page (a symbolic link to the appropriate manual page
is sufficient) because other manual page viewers as xman or tkman don't
support this.
Have a look at Policy Manual, section 5.1 for details.

W: seyon: non-standard-file-perm usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/Seyon-color 0444
The file has a mode different from 0644. In some cases this is
intentional, but in other cases this is a bug. If it's intentional,
please send a note to schwarz@monet.m.isar.de so that this error gets
included in the overrides file of Lintian. (With that, Lintian will
ignore this bug in the future.)
