Subject: nn looks in wrong directory for 'active'-file
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
Date: Sat, 13 Sep 1997 23:19:33 +0200 (MET DST)
X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4ME+ PL28 (25)]
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Package: nn
Version: 6.5.0.b3.linux.1.1-01
Security: grave

nn aborts immediately with the message 'could not fetch active file' when
started.

Using strace on nn turns out that nn looks for the active file in
'/usr/lib/news/active'. That's the wrong place, the correct place is
'/var/lib/news/active'.
