HOW TO REPRODUCE:

1) start notebook-gtk2
2) type in the field "Find" something like this:
asdklfja;sdkjfa;klsdjf;lkasjdfklasdf
(type random symbols until any note will not match)
3) press BACKSPACE
4) ???
5) Segmentation fault
