Unfortunately, the patch that was applied does change the ABI.
The patch I uploaded for mozjs24 should not change the ABI. It looks like the patch we put in mozjs24_24.2.0-4.debian.tar.xz is actually the patch for mozjs185. And in mozjs24_24.2.0-5.debian.tar.xz, there is no patch for fixing the 48-bit issue.
Currently, I do not have a perfect solution which can fix the 48-bit issue for mozjs185 without changing the ABI. But is there anything I can do to help fixing the issue for mozjs24?
