Bug#628603: synaptic does not start when wdm is the display manager

I run su in lxterminal, and then do whatever I want to as root.

Did you test it on Debian GNU/kFreeBSD or Debian GNU/Linux?
Because, I think the bug is Debian GNU/kFreeBSD specific.
Did you notice:

Jun 17 16:43:42 debian wdm: (EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of
/usr/lib/i386-kfreebsd-gnu/dri/swrast_dri.so failed

The correct address is /usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so.
Could this, or something alike, be the cause of the problem?
I'll create a symlink between the two directories and test it.
