Package: beep-media-player
Version: 0.9.6.1+cvs20040813-6
Severity: normal

I recently discovered bmp and I was quite pleasantly surprised to know that
there was "a xmms with a GTK 2" interface, including anti-aliasing. Quite
nice, I thought.

Unfortunately, it seems that bmp isn't able to deal with some of my songs.
I have it set (as default) to show information of songs in the playlist on
demand. It unfortunately doesn't load information on songs with a '#' in
their name.

The strange fact is that if I try to get information on those songs (via
Alt+I), then it shows some things (but with all controls greyed out, unlike
other songs), but it doesn't play those songs, if I double-click them (it
seems to start playing them, but then just proceeds to the next song).

The files in question are readable (they have 0644 permissions and I am
their owner).

Thanks for any help, Rogério Brito.
