In wanpipe.conf, I tried to comment out an interface:

[interfaces]
wp1_fr16 = wanpipe1, 16, WANPIPE , frame relay 
wp1_fr17 = wanpipe1, 17, WANPIPE , frame relay

By using the # character:

[interfaces]
wp1_fr16 = wanpipe1, 16, WANPIPE , frame relay 
#wp1_fr17 = wanpipe1, 17, WANPIPE , frame relay

However, now I get the following error:

Error Interface File #wp1_fr17 not found

This is stupid, comments should not be getting parsed.
