Package: kde
Version: KDE Version 3.1.0 RC6 (not installed)
Severity: minor

Appologies for incorrect package routing, but I cannot see which package
this problem stems from.

When menu transparency is turned on in KDE3.1 the main app menu (on the
panel) operates correctly. Menus in suitably enabled programs (such as
KMail and KNode) have transparency problems. When moving through menus
after a menu has been opened to start with, the previous menu opened can
be seen as a rectangular lower transparency level where the new and old
menus coincide.

I can send a screen shot if required (though, obviously not through
report bug).
