Some English fixes - I can't work out how to do all this sanely in
git, so I'll attach a diff and revised versions.

This seems garbled; "submission bids" should be something like "the
submission of bids", and it's awkward to talk about a "call" being
"open". But if there's a "Call-for-Bids" stage, that's something we
can say is open (optionally, "for submissions")...
Call for Bids to host the DebConf24 Debian Developer Conference is now open:

> Help choose the DebConf25 logo! With 23 entries to vote from, we've got your style: https://surveys.debian.net/ #debian #debconf #debconf25
You don't vote "from" entries.
Help choose the DebConf25 logo! With a choice of 23 entries to vote for,
Or to avoid repetition:

> Registration and the Call for Proposals for DebConf23 are now open! https://bits.debian.org/2023/06/debconf23-registation-opens.html
Ah, now these can both be "open", but it's more natural to talk about
Registration opening than a Call for something, so it might still be
more natural to put them the other way round:
Call for Proposals and Registration for DebConf23 are now open!
Or even, shortening it further,
DebConf23 Call for Proposals and Registration are now open!

^Has been^ extended. You can claw back a couple of characters by
saying "till July 10 2023".

> Confirmed events for DebConf23 is on our website https://debconf23.debconf.org/talks/ #debian #debconf #freesoftware #dc23 #debconf23 #kochi #debconfkochi #debianindia
Shouldn't that be "are"?
Also, there are other events on the schedule besides talks, so maybe
it should say either
Confirmed events for DebConf23 are on our website https://debconf23.debconf.org/schedule/
or
Confirmed talks for DebConf23 are on our website https://debconf23.debconf.org/talks/
but that's not in my patch.

Surplus article, wrong preposition; and squeezing:
#DebConf23 starts tomorrow in Kochi. Whether you will be on the spot or at your computer, it's time to have a look at the schedule!
> DebConf23 starts today! Most of the talks are streamed online. Watch out this space for our schedule: https://debconf23.debconf.org/schedule/ . Live talks can be watched by clicking on the venue links in schedule. #debian #debconf #debconf23 #freesoftware #dc23 #kochi #debconfkochi #debianindia
Surplus "out":
DebConf23 starts today! Most of the talks are streamed online. Watch this space for our schedule:

This offers some opportunities for squeezing; then the instructions
are "in" this email, but if readers are going to be encouraged to
visit it as a web archive we might as well just say:
The #DebConf23 group photo will be taken today after the talks, before lunch, between 12:30 and 12:45 IST. Instructions are here:

Rephrase it slightly and it gets easier to shorten:

Bookworm is nearly ready for release! Have a look at the Bits from the Release Team:
[...]

Here on the other hand there's a surplus "a", and instead of "do" I'd
say "provide live coverage". (While I'm editing the line I'll also
pedantically upgrade the comma to a semicolon.)
> The release process has begun! bullseye is being re-coded as oldstable, to make way for bookworm to become #stable #ReleasingDebianBookworm
"Re-coded" is a bit odd (especially since the codename is the part
that doesn't change). Maybe "relabeled"? (Though then you have to
decide if it's en_US "relabeled" or en_GB "relabelled"... I'm assuming
en_US to match "organizers" elsewhere.)

It's bookworm release day! Across the world members of the release, publicity, images and FTP teams are brewing industrial quantities of coffee as their final preparations are completed #ReleasingDebianBookworm
The Debian publicity team will provide live coverage of the #ReleasingDebianBookworm process; follow us via Debian Micronews or your favorite social network!
The release process has begun! bullseye is being relabeled as oldstable, to make way for bookworm to become #stable #ReleasingDebianBookworm
FTP masters are setting up the supporting suites for a stable release (backports, updates etc) in preparation for the main stable suite
The archive software is preparing the package indexes and release files for bookworm as stable #ReleasingDebianBookworm
Release managers are checking the contents of the new stable indexes prior to handing bookworm over to the Stable Release Managers... hold on tight!
The stable release managers have accepted custody of bookworm by signing the release files. Bookworm's contents are now finalized and the image building process can begin!
Don't forget to check your APT source lines carefully for this release. If you refer to the "stable" suite and not the "bullseye" codename, you might get a surprise later today! #ReleasingDebianBookworm
The contents of bookworm are now being sent over to the Debian Images team for building and testing of all the .iso files you will be able to download when the release is complete #ReleasingDebianBookworm
Pay close attention to the Release Notes. They have a lot of helpful information that will make upgrades and new installations go seamlessly. https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/index.en.html
Update: Work continues. The CD team is starting and the ftpmasters are working on trixie now.
The first full size image, Debian 12.0 Live for amd64, has built and the other architectures are following. They will be publicly available after extensive testing #ReleasingDebianBookworm
The beautiful Emerald theme for Debian 12 'bookworm' is by Juliette Taka http://www.juliettetaka.com/ #ReleasingDebianBookworm
As more images complete, testing is well underway. You can join the testing effort - just say hi in #debian-cd on OFTC and get stuck in! #ReleasingDebianBullseye #DebianHowCanIHelp
While the images are built and tested, the FTP masters have been busily getting future suites ready for development so that our cycle can begin again. Say hello to Debian 13 'trixie'! #ReleasingDebianBookworm #DebianTrixie #Trixie
Debian's image building server has 88 CPUs along with 384GB of fast RAM and over 8TB SSD storage. Even so, each DVD-sized image takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and 20 are done at a time in parallel #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian #Debian12
Debian takes release codenames from Pixar Toy Story movie characters, Trixie will be the development codename for Debian 13.
Image builds of bookworm are complete and the images team continues to test them thoroughly, moving on to non-PC architectures such as s390x and mips #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian #Debian12
During release all of the automated archive maintenance services are disabled, including for stable distributions. The archive will be administered manually by an FTP master during the release process, and automated services are usually enabled on the day after release. #ReleasingDebianBookworm
The new non-free-firmware section of the bookworm archive is opt-in. Do not forget to include it when updating your source lists if you wish to opt into binary firmware for your device. #ReleasingDebianBookworm.
Every Debian release includes errata and bookworm is no different. The first update to the stable suite is usually expected about 4-6 weeks after release and includes fixes for issues discovered late in the development process. Check the release notes for more information about the known issues. #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian12 #Debian
Upgrades by users immediately after a Debian release place a significant load on the mirror network. In July 2019 the release of buster saw nearly 1GiB/s peak file downloads for several days on some networks, whilst in August 2021 the releasing bullseye caused 1.05GiB/s. That's over 840Gbps network bandwidth! More statistics are available at https://www.accum.se/technical/statistics/ftp/monitordata/ #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian
Image testing is approaching the final stages, with only a couple of minor issues found. So far they are not serious enough to hold up the rest of the process #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian #Debian12
Debian 12 has over 34,780 Source packages. #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian12 #Debian
The tested images have been signed off and the remaining release tasks can continue. Thank you all our image testers <3 #ReleasingDebianBookworm #Debian #Debian12
