Thank you.

I've read the same conversation as you and I did not got this.

I believe this represents a misinterpretation of Gerardo's opinion. My
understanding is that he opposes Debian making a political statement.
While leaving X could arguably be interpreted as a political statement
to some extent, as I have explained, we have strong non-political
reasons for leaving, which are more than sufficient to justify the
decision.

ACK.

I strongly oppose moving this discussion to the -vote mailing list. This
thread has already generated valuable contributions, such as [2], which
had also been considered by the press team beforehand. However, it has
also attracted disruptive trolling that derails the conversation.
Shifting the discussion to another list will not resolve these issues
and may even exacerbate them.

Quoting the "Debian Publicity Team delegation"[3]:

The team is in charge of deciding the most suitable publication
venue or venues for announcements and when they are published.

Previous delegates made the decision to join Twitter, and you, as
current delegates, have the authority to decide whether to leave or
remain. Please hold a vote within the publicity team--this is your
responsibility. The team was established to make such decisions, and it
is important that you act on this mandate.

Kind regards
    Andreas.
