Hello Everyone,

It is time for the next Publicity Team monthly meeting. This
gathering will be
an at length meeting so that we can clear all agenda items. This
meeting should
allow our team to close agenda items rather than leaving them for the
next meeting.

Please vote/indicate which dates would work best over your
schedule for your
attendance: https://rally.debian.net/invite/0Y2IqFC5N42P

I would like the meeting to start an hour earlier for better timezone
coverage (17:00 UTC)

Yes, starting at 17:00 UTC i.e. 18:00 CET could work for me.

Thank you for proposing this, because 18:00 UTC is a bit late for me and around 2 hours after that is going to be very late.

and extend the survey to Tuesday January 7th as
planned at the December meeting

+1 to adding January 7th on the list.

I point out that the next point release of Debian will take place
on January 11th and we have to prepare it in the days before.

Jean-Pierre: I hope to be able to contribute some tiny bit of work like e.g.
proofreading this time. Are you available again to do the bulk of the work?

I am planning to watch and learn the process for point release announcements this time.

Finally, I think that limiting the meeting to an hour and a half maximum
is more reasonable.

Yes please. I am very busy with Real Life™ these days; I might be able to
allocate an hour (or even an hour and a half) but more just won't happen.

Rally can be finicky, if you have an issue logging in or using it switch to
a private browser session. If it works perfectly or does not let us know,
we can only make it better with some feedback.

The agenda is open for edit:
https://salsa.debian.org/publicity-team/todo/-/blob/main/Meetings/January2025Meeting.md

We will dedicate 5-10 minutes per item, this should help us speed through
the meeting a bit faster. That timing approach worked for a similar
lengthened meeting that we had last year, lets see if it still works for
us.

We could try that indeed. But if we can't reach rough consensus within that
small slot of time; we should be prepared to keep the item on the agenda for
next meeting, I'd guess.

Donald: thanks for organising this!

Thank you!
