Who wants to work on a Debian presence on Instagram?

What are the outcomes of a Debian presence on Instagram?
I'm interested to know which of these are likely:

  * more people who have heard of us?
  * more people who are our fans?
  * more people using our software?
  * more people contributing?
  * more people donating?
  * more interest in Software Freedom/privacy/security/etc?

What kinds of content would best produce these outcomes?

What kinds of content could a Debian presence on Instagram post?

  * conversions of official Debian publicity content
  * modifications of Debian conference photos/talks
  * summaries of discussions on Debian lists/forums
  * installation videos?
  * package reviews?

What steps are needed for a Debian presence on Instagram?

  * someone who wants this decides to work on it
  * they register a Debian presence
  * they start producing content
  * they start posting content
  * they start finding other people to help

Unfortunately, we can say that no one in Debian with technical knowledge about creating highly polished content for Instagram. This means that if we (Debian Publicity) really wants our presence in Instagram, we have to learn from ground up to accomplish this request's goal: making Debian famous in Instagram.

For videos, keep in mind that Instagram have 1 minute duration limit. A speed-up version or excerpt for installation videos is appropriate for this case.

I often encountered in Instagram random posts with (unrelated?) quotes as caption. Is it acceptable for posts by Debian presence on Instagram?

Remember that Instagram have "blue tick" verification which can be requested in order to make sure that our Debian presence run by Debian Publicity is "official". Unofficial presences by Debian fans may permitted, but where is the official one if there is not a "verified" account with "blue tick"?

Since Debian presence on Instagram represents entire Debian organization, it would make sense if we switched to Business Account. With Business Account, we can get external funding by publishing advertisements about our distribution.
