deity@lists is the _development_ list for the apt _software_. It has
nothing to do with the actual Debian archives.

If you would post your deb lines and the output of apt{-get,itude,}
update, one could probably help you.

The correct mailing list for this issue would be debian-user.

Jftr, wheezy is Debian oldstable and is still supported including
security.
