Because we don't want to (and cannot, really) confirm and commit to a specific 
venue more than a year in advance. What if, eg, we raise too little money for 
this venue? Then we might switch to some cheaper option and Le Camp is sadly 
out of it.

Then we shall list these dates as "most likely".

While I absolutly support this, past years have shown that DebConf 
organisation relies on IRC heavily, despite our best efforts to use the lists 
as well. So you might want to get into the habbit of checking backlog, at 
least for certain, possinly highlighted, terms.
