Possibly. OTOH Debian has been struggling maintaining the existing
information sources: www.d.o redesign is being worked on for quite a long
time, times.d.n has technical issues for ages, news.d.n is essentially a one
woman show afaik (correct me if I'm wrong), DWN has struggled a long time
until it was resurrected (thanks!)

Is there a summary which "information outlet" matces which target group?

 * www.d.o -> general interest, starting point for everything else
 * planet.d.o -> DD and other people who see themselves as a part of the
community
 * news.d.n -> not quite sure. WNPP summaries and new developer names may
interest insiders above all, but the headline implies a broader target
audience.
 * d-a@lists -> users
 * d-d-a@lists -> developers
 * wiki.d.o -> is mostly a bucket to collect stuff that is being linked from
other sources (I don't mean this in a bad way, but I *guess* that only a
minority of people visit wiki.d.o starting from the title page. Logs?)
 * ...

(I'll shut up now. I currently lack both time and motivation to get
involved to a level I'd like.)

AFAICT times.d.n is essentially dead.

Additionally: the "select random developers" interview requests didn't work
out either, I didn't get responses in the end. I *did* get quite a few
positive emails from readers though and I'm thinking that I'd like to revive
the interviews, perhaps as a replacement of the new developer introductions
(I don't remember who has done these a few times.) Currently I'm not sure
where to post them, though, and I don't want to funnel them to planet just
via my own blog.

Absolutely.
