While that's actually true, the DebConf Orga team decided, that it's to
confusing for non-geeks to have "a DebConfX, the (x-1)th Debian
Conference" and that therefore from now on, DebConfX will be the Xth
Debian Conference.

I asked them explicitly about that. So I'm going to revert your commit,
but many thanks for reviewing the announcement anyway!

BTW: A part of the announcement has already been translated. See
http://lists.debconf.org/lurker/message/20100729.102438.087aa132.en.html
for details.

The diff should (module format changes from txt to wml) should be:
* Added the paragraph about video streams
* shortened the subject
* Added the talk from the city council to the Debian Day paragraph
* Pumped the "translated into 27 languages" to "over 30" (that's what we
had in the last DebConf announcement; but honestly don't know the origin
of that number)

Best regards,
  Alexander
