Regarding the Debian Redesign, Is it just related to the Look and Feel of the sites or the Web platform itself too? I mean, using a CMS or something like that(Ikiwiki comes to my mind).
The website (and anything else related to it) is just a small peace in a concept for the Debian project, it's the appearence as a whole, e. g. anything, from namecards to booth decoration. Working out the conception is the most work, the whole design thing comes later.
