Hi, On Saturday 15 December 2007 05:05, Don Armstrong wrote: > See suggested changes attached. Thanks Don. Attached as patched version... as text, so the references to links are missing. ("You can read more about Skolelinux here."). Also this paragraph is wrong / inaccurate: "The next milestone will be the merging of different school systems based on Free Software. The largest example will be the merge between Debian-Edu / Skolelinux and the very successful Spanish GNU/LinEx project which has, at the moment, more than 250.000 users and 80.000 workstations in use at schools in Extremadura, as part of the 'one laptop for every two pupils' project." I suggest to rewrite it to: "The next milestone will be the merging of different school distributions based on Debian. Starting this year, Debian-Edu / Skolelinux will be deployed in the spanish region of Extremadura, replacing and building on top of the successful GNU/LinEx project, which has, at the moment, more than 250.000 users and 80.000 workstations in use at schools in Extremadura". (Extremadura doesn't use laptops (mass deployed in schools) and they "only" have two computers per pupil in primary school, in higher classes there is one PC per person. - there certainly isnt a "one laptop for two pupils project", this also sounds like a pun on OLPC.) It's also further complicated by the fact, that for the time being, the Linex distribution will further be developed and distributed by the goverment of Extremadura but at the same time Debian Edu will be deployed in their schools. (Probably still labeled Linex...) cc:ed José so he can correct me if I got it wrong again :) But I believe by now I got it :) regards, Holger
