IMHO, etch is much more important than sarge.

Not sure if the freeze warrants a press release, though.  The release
of etch does justify one, at least.  However, sending out a good
pre-release announcement with real information for users and the
press without using content that should be in the final release
announcement, would probably be a good idea.
