People discussing unimportant things is a problem, but it is not the
only one and does not meen awareness of the problem could not cause
Let's keep in the analogy of where the "bikeshadding" argument come
from. Assume the committee to dscide about building plants,
bikesheds and other parts is aware of the problem of bikeshadding
and once someone thinks they are wasting time about something as
unimportant as the color of a bikeshad shouts "bikeshadding" until
the next topic is entered. Now it is the next time a power plant
if planed, someone suggests to place it elsewhere. Many people start
shouting "bikeshadding, bikeshadding, bikeshadding" and the discussion
is closed before someone can mention that the place where the plant is
currently planed there is no way to cool it.
