Nothing about Jérôme's statement implies those efforts didn't increase his
motivation as well. I feel the same way; seeing people do things to try
to improve Debian, whether that be tackling a hard technical problem,
working on an infrastructure improvement, or trying to find more resources
to bear on problems, improves my motivation as well.
