Test relese vs. stable

Hi ,

1. Is it possible to perform the netinstaller with the stable release and to install packages from the test release ? during the installation ,does it let me to do it ?

2. Is it possible to update to new release after installation, or it is limited to just security updates ? can it be done automatically ?
