I agree... perhaps an error in judgement on our behalf.

My personal opinion, was that it was not meant to be a joke as such, but
perhaps a light-hearted look at how male geeks typically 'appreciate'
looking at pictures of so called 'out of reach' women.

This is vaguely what I was alluding to in my initial reply to this thread.
(Pretty much stereotyping, I guess... They're bad, I know, but in this
particular situation the common stereotype is not far off)

I'll only apologise to those that are unable to take such things with a
grain of salt.
