Bug#210879: Leave this bug closed PLEASE

M. Urlichs politely asks:

> I hesitate to say this, but please actually listen to "Please do not
> reopen this bug unless you have anything new to add"

Well sorry, but I DO listen, I just don't agree. Probably you think the
request was so self-evidently sensible, that it'd be impossible to really
listen to it and not agree. Not me, I really listened, and yet, I just
did not agree.

Especially because of the fact that I did have new stuff to add. The new
stuff is all there in the thread after the first reopening. But there's no
need to take my word for it...

> and "I think you
> should demonstrate consensus on -project that there is a problem".

Would a lack of consensus disprove there was a problem? Many problems
are such that those most involved would deny any problem existed, as in
virtually all cases of prejudice. "There is no class problem" sniffs the
aristocrat, "only a noisy rabble problem."

> Thank you.

You're welcome!
