Re: Debian packages of cpdb-libs and cpdb-backend-cups

I have always used tags without 'v' recently, so for of all "my" OpenPrinting repos (all except cups, libcups, cups-shared, cups-local) you can search for version numbers without 'v' as release tags. Fore the CPDB package please consider also beta (like "2.0b1") and release candidate (like "2.0rc1") versions. 2nd generation of CPDB is essentially important. The first generation is lacking a lot of needed features.

Thorsten, would you introduce the packages cpdb-libs and cpdb-backend-cups (they are both from OpenPrinting) into Debian? You can use the Ubuntu packages as base for that, as they are already in Ubuntu and tested there.

cpdb-libs is already part of Debian in version 1.2.0 and cpdb-backend-cups is available in version 1.1.1. The watch files of both packages don't show a new version. Are they broken or did the versioning change?

Hmm, the first versions look like v1.1.1 and the new ones are like 2.0b1. This is rather bad. Would it be possible to name the tags consistent over time?
