Raphael, thank you very much for the patch. I have applied it to the upstream code now (the mismatch was easy to fix and, in addition, I silenced some warnings) and pushed it into the upstream BZR repo as rev. 7374.
I only did very basic testing of building it and running it in my environment which does not have LDAP. So it seems not to cause regressions on systems without LDAP use. Please test whether the current BZR HEAD works correctly with LDAP as your version works. Thanks.
