The usual procedure is to file bugs against the affected packages, if 
possible with a tested patch. In this specific case, as all three 
packages are under the Debian Printing umbrella, we could just go ahead 
with fixing and uploading these packages.

That said, as far as I saw, none of the files shipped by foomatic-
filters are shipped in cups-filters 1.0.42, right? How will packages 
automagically use cups-filters instead of foomatic-filters?
