Bug#681495: printer-driver-ptouch: rastertoptch installed in directory that's not in cups' PATH
Package: printer-driver-ptouch
Version: 1.3-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
This package installs:
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/cups/filter/rastertoptch
'strace -f -p $CUPS_PID' reveals that cups only looks in these locations:
6629 stat64("/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoptch", 0xbfa001d0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
6629 stat64("/usr/bin/rastertoptch", 0xbfa001d0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
6629 stat64("/usr/sbin/rastertoptch", 0xbfa001d0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
6629 stat64("/bin/rastertoptch", 0xbfa001d0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
6629 stat64("/usr/bin/rastertoptch", 0xbfa001d0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
Needless to say, this means that the driver does not work for anybody.
