Package: hpijs-ppds Version: 2.1.10+0.9.11-2Forwarding bug reported in Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/hplip-ppds/+bug/49102 : all non-HP hpijs-PPDs are missing.Michele wrote:All the hpijs printers were removed from the package foomatic-filters-ppds and moved to the new package hplip-ppds, but in the hplip-ppds packages there are only HP printers and not all the printers using hpijs driver. So now all not HP printer using hpijs driver (Kyocera, Canon, Samsung, etc.) are missing because they are not in foomatic-filters-ppds and also not in hplip-hpijs.I also believe that all hpijs PPDs belong in package hpijs-ppds and should be installed in /usr/share/ppd/hpijs. If I'm not mistaking with the files hpijs-printermap and hpijs-generator found at linuxprinting.org you should be able to generate the foomatic xml files for both HP and non-HP printers. The foomatic xml files can then be used to generate all hpijs PPDs.Kind regards, Pascal

Version: 4.0.4-2 Hi, You reported this bug against the foomatic-filters-ppds package. Since version 4.0.4-2, this package is empty. Furthermore, the Debian project just released Debian Squeeze, which ships this foomatic-filters-ppds. So I am hereby closing the bugs concerning the contents of foomatic-filters-ppds as "solved by the version currently in Squeeze. If your issue is still a valid one, please say so and we'll find a package to reassign the bug to. Thanks for your understanding and cheers, OdyX -- Didier Raboud, proud Debian Developer.
