Package: cupsys
Version: 1.2.1-2

Ever since the latest upgrade some kind of crash seems to occur. The behaviour is very strange. When I switch on the computer and try to print I get some processes under top (gutenprint, rastertoprint, gs) that don't go away and the cups web interface says "printer not connected, retry in 30 seconds".

The current workaround for this is to delete the printer in the web interface and reinstall it. Then the printer works for that session. This has to be repeated after every reboot. I use the HP Laserjet 4 and the appropriate driver.

The workaround suggests that this is in fact a cupsys problem.

Thx for reading,

Malte
