Package: cups-bsd
Version: 1.4.1-4
Severity: important

Hello,

I have been using cups and cups-bsd with a locally installed
Kyocera Mita FS1020D printer for over five years, without any
problems. The printer is connected via parallel port and
configured using the manufacturer supplied ppd file
Kyocera_Mita_FS-1020_German.ppd.

There are two printer queues, with different default settings:
  Kyocera - one-sided - default printer
  kyo2 - two-sided

This has been working fine for years.

However, since the last update to version 1.4.1-4 there is no
way of choosing "non-duplex" mode using the lpr command.

Although the default is set to "Duplex=None" :

,-----[ console ]------------------------------------------------------------------
| ~ > lpoptions -l -p Kyocera
| JCLEconomode/EcoPrint: *Off On
| Option8/Papierzuführung: None *True

| Duplex/Duplex: *None DuplexTumble DuplexNoTumble

`---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and even when using the explicit option "lpr -o duplex=none" (or
uppercase/lowercase variants of this) it invariably prints
two-sided documents (even when they only contain a single page).

On the other hand, printing the test page from
http://localhost:631/printers/Kyocera works fine,
as does "cupsdoprint -P <filename>", so the general printer setup
seems to be okay.

This should be fixed in 1.4.2-1 now.
