Bug#497671: cups: No problem with version 1.3.11

Package: cups
Severity: normal

I made some checks with the new version of CUPS in unstable. pstops now keeps
options defined in the PostScript files but not in the job printing options.
So this problem does not exist with this new version.

However, with its default settings, CUPS will not use pstops directly when
receiving a PostScript document, but instead pstopdf, pdftopdf and finally
cpdftocps (which, in turn, runs pdftops and pstops, cf. wish #544172). This
long chain also keeps printing options defined in the PostScript document.

Regards,
