After manually selecting this driver for Epson Stylus Color II, /usr/share/cups/model/gutenprint/5.0/en/stp-escp2-ii.5.0.ppd.gz, as reported in the documentatio
n of gutenprint, the test page does not print correctly:

I'm sorry to hear it.  The Stylus Color II was a good printer.

In the absence of any other users able to report success or failure
with this printer, I'm going to have to close the bug report.  If your
printer does come to life again, and it still doesn't work, please
feel free to reopen the bug report, or file a new one.
