Bug#381145: Bug reconfirmed in 1.2.11-3
> How is your LPR configuration on Solaris?
> Don't you forget to add ":sh" to your printcap?
There is no /etc/printcap in Solaris.
There is an /etc/printers.conf with a similar syntax,
but there is no documented :sh: option, and lpset won't
let me add one, but I can edit one in by hand:
p1|printer1|alias1|lp:\
:bsdaddr=debian_box,p1:\
:description=p1:\
:sh:
p2|printer2:\
:bsdaddr=debian_box,p2:\
:description=p2:\
:sh:
_default:\
:use=p1:
This makes no difference.
The same with lpadmin -p <printer> -o nobanner.
Anyway, the bug is that "-o job-sheets=none" works on the cups-lpd
command line, but not in the config file.
