hpio and hpssd are having trouble in your machine.  Check syslog.  Check
permissions on the USB ports (user hplip or group lp must be able to access
the /dev/usb/lp/* devices for read and write).

Well, something is seriously broken in your system, that's for sure. I have
never heard of that one.
