Never mind, I already found the problem, from the source code:

        # Format                                                                                                                           
        in-target sh -c "hfsutils -l \"NewWorld Bootblock\" $_offs_part"
        _exit_value=$?

I'm sometimes not very smart ;-).

Will fix that. Working image by tomorrow.
