Hi,

this does not work, I don't get Open Firmware prompt, but normal boot which
asks me if I want to boot on hard disk or cd. I type "c" to boot on Knoppix
CD, but it does not work.

Finally I found a CD on the right side ot the machine and I put a Knoppix DVD
into it. But I don't know how to eject it. Perhaps the G4 can only read CD and
not DVD?

Thanks for all the answers, but you always tell me how to install Debian.
Debian is already installed and works, I aonly want to create new passwords.

cheers

Klaus
