Dear PPC porters,

I've reworked this a bit. Changes to before:

 - Streamline ppc64 (BE) and ppc64el a bit more using macros (makes
   the code easier to read).
 - Add r2 (TOC) prologue for global function entry (+ .localentry
   markers) to all assembly routines that might access global variables
   (even indirectly via unified_syscall)

Pushed it to the same branch as before:

I'm quite confident that this is correct now, but would like a
second opinion from porters before I send it upstream. See the
other mails in this thread on how to test it.
