I filed my first Debian bug today--Bug#756517--using reportbug against
the package "installation reports", as you suggested. There were 147
other bugs in that section, but none of them seemed a match.

I added :
append="Linux video=radeonfb:1920x1080-32@60"
to /etc/yaboot.conf , as you suggested, then ran "ybin -v" and that
solved the problem. Jessie is running really well on my Powermac MDD.
