Even though I don't use a pbook (I only have an old, vintage iBook 2), I
also don't have such problems and I'm running the bleeding edge (git
trees). Like Michel, I don't use initrd's/initramfs's.

But, then, there are some points that come to mind:

* is the keyboard used an ADB or an USB one?
* is the evdev module loaded (compiled in the kernel?)?

If this bug is not fixed yet, I think that those points are worth
investigating...
