 Just tested it today, upgraded to xorg 7.4/xserver 1.4 and use the ati
driver 6.7.192 from the experimental debian tree.  Am on an aluminium
powerbook g4, 15", added Option MacModel powerbook to the ati driver
section, Virtual 2720 1024 to the display section, and xrandr --output
DVI-0 --right-of LVDS lets me use it.

 Thanks for working on it, pretty much appreciated.  If you need any
specific debug output, just let me know.
