1) you control your reader from a laptop
and display on a large monitor or remote
system/ projector. possibly you get control
over the second screen so you can put
your audience free from the control details,
ie full screen mode, while making controls
fully visible for yourself
2) you set up slides with timeing interval(s)
ahead of time.
although it would be nice to have such things,
it might be better to go
with a commercial (display) system if it is really
all that important ???
3) if its a question of creating presentation tools,
to help set it up, i consider that quite a different
story. is that what "templates" is about ? Can't you
do that in your favorite editing app and print to
pdf ?
if that is too technical, IMHO, people should either
be using another distro or another OS entirely, or
perhaps also a different architecture of computer.
