Re: internet from lan



well I just downloaded the minimal install package from the debian site and that is what kernel I am using.

bear@debian:~$ uname -a
Linux debian 2.4.27-powerpc #1 Tues May 30 22:50:15 UTC 2006 ppc GNU/ LInux

Hmmm, you are using some standard kernel, aren't you? Please provide the output
of uname -a
