Re: joy. AirPort Extreme



Hello experts,

  can somebody help me to configure wlan interface on me iBook
  G4. I mean AirportExtreme. I'm not experienced at this.
  I compiled the kernel and module modprobe it. And now i'm at the
  extracting firmware from Apple drviver I try:
  
  $14:12 #1# milan@krachsna [~/trunk/fwcutter]: ./fwcutter -w /macosx/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAirPort2.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleAirPort2
  
  but i got this error:
  
  Driver version unknown or wrong input file.

  The module was loaded without any errors. Can somebody write
  some short instructions how to setup this. Maebe this can be
  usefull for others which would like to the this driver.
