two pieces of information

the patch on your page does not apply directly to 2.6.12-rc6,
because of minor formatting issues:

	linux-2.6.12-rc6$ patch -p1 -i ../download/fn-key.diff
        patching file drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 1426 with fuzz 2 (offset -68 lines).
        Hunk #2 FAILED at 1520.
1 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c.rej
        patching file drivers/usb/input/hid.h
        Hunk #1 FAILED at 242.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/usb/input/hid.h.rej
        patching file drivers/usb/input/hid-input.c
        Hunk #1 FAILED at 409.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file drivers/usb/input/hid-input.c.rej

I could easily apply the rejections manually (compile and test pending).

As for the USB device, I think my German Powerbook also has 05ac:020f...

Thanks again for the nice page and the effort,
	Bernhard
